DYCOSAGT is Agate's closely connected international partner project, sharing a common vision of advancing algorithmic game theory through interdisciplinary collaboration.

Dynamics and Combinatorial Structures in Algorithmic Game Theory (DYCOSAGT) is an interdisciplinary research project focused on strengthening international collaboration in the development of analytical tools for applications of Algorithmic Game Theory.


Recent years have seen rapid growth in the use of algorithmic game theory across a wide range of disciplines. Research topics include fairness optimization, autonomous multi-agent systems, dynamics of potential games, market mechanisms, and machine learning approaches to equilibrium computation. These emerging applications are increasingly connected with advanced methods from mathematics, optimization, computer science, and numerical simulations.


A central pillar of DYCOSAGT is international staff mobility between the project partners, fostering the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and research experience. The consortium brings together researchers from Charles University (Czech Republic), the University of Bonn (Germany), Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (Israel), the University of Alberta (Canada), Princeton University, Rutgers University, New York University, and Columbia University (United States).


The project involves both established researchers in mathematics, computer science, and economics, while placing a strong emphasis on training the next generation of scientists through international collaboration and knowledge exchange.


DYCOSAGT is funded by the European Union under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Staff Exchanges programme. The project builds upon two previous European initiatives coordinated by Charles University: the Horizon 2020 MSCA RISE project CoSP (Combinatorial Structures and Processes) and the Horizon Europe WIDERA ERA Chair project AGATE (Algorithmic Game Theory in Socio-economics).
